We are interested in aesthetic values as one of the components of the brain’s value system.  Although aesthetic values are often viewed as subjective, the brain processes them objectively.  Our interests in neuroaesthetics lie on many fronts, such as how an objective brain leads to both aesthetic individuality and different aesthetic cultures.
