Do mental disorders change values?

Because the learning of values changes with each individual context,  they should change under mental disorders.  To test this hypothesis, we are studying whether autism spectrum disorder changes values, so people prefer simpler sensory loads.  We are also studying whether major depressive disorder leads to a preference of slower stimuli.
