What can visual arts teach us about aesthetic values?

When a person observes a piece of visual art, the pleasure arises from the individual’s aesthetic values.   Similarly, most artists have used their aesthetic values in their work.  We have analyzed the statistics of art, architecture, dance, and movies of different periods to infer the aesthetic values of the artists.  Moreover, by studying these statistics over time we could observe how aesthetic values shift through cultural influences.
